This scholarship is in honor of Sue Jampsa who was a warm, fun and much-loved friend, colleague and counselor.  Sue worked as a school counselor in the Bellingham School District  from 1976 to 2004. She was also an avid hiker, and hiked most of the local trails with her longtime hiking friends. She climbed Mount Baker three times, and hiked four times to the bottom of the Grand Canyon.

Sue’s friends and family share countless stories of her loving and giving nature. She brought love and support to many people throughout her career and in her life.  This scholarship is being set up by her loved ones to honor her life and legacy in our community.  To make a gift to this scholarship, please click here.
