Brigid Collins Endowment Fund

1 in 10 children will be the victim of sexual abuse before their 18th birthday. It is the most prevalent health problem children face with the most serious array of consequences. When we prevent child abuse, we address a root cause of many social problems including violent crime, homeless, teen pregnancy, health problems, and substance abuse.
On the frontlines of child abuse treatment and prevention since 1990, Brigid Collins Family Support Center’s mission is to end child abuse. Serving more than 2,300 families in Whatcom and Skagit Counties each year, we envision a world in which all children are safe, healthy and nurtured. Whether it’s building strong families, providing justice to those who have been abused, or equipping community members with the tools and knowledge to prevent child abuse from happing in the first place, Brigid Collins Family Support Center works to improve the health and vitality of children and families and create a safe community for us all.
