OLD GROWTH ENGELMANN SPRUCE

The soundboards of the Holden Village Special Edition of the GS Mini guitars are crafted from the wood of these 250- year-old Engelmann spruce trees, creating a unique and beautiful instrument with exceptional sound.

The back and sides of this guitar are crafted from the wood of a single maple tree from the Pacific Northwest. The wood of this particular Big Leaf Maple tree displays a beautiful “fiddleback” pattern resulting in a guitar unlike any other. The processing of the various guitar components was done by Pacific Rim Tonewoods, a Washington based specialty sawmill which supplies most of the domestic guitar industry.
