Building Community Through Grantmaking


The Whatcom Community Foundation recently awarded grants totaling more than $205,000 to 37 local charitable organizations. Mauri Ingram, President & CEO shares,“In January we invited local nonprofit organizations to tell us how they wanted to make our community better.  After a thoughtful review by our grants committee volunteers, we are thrilled to support these projects focused on collaborations that build community.”  In addition to the funds distributed during the annual grant round, the Community Foundation, has also awarded more than $2 million to support community projects this year.
